Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd, one of the leading general insurance companies in Bangladesh has signed up with SSLCOMMERZ, the e-commerce merchant service provider to facilitate online premium payment services for its policy holders.
The signing ceremony was held at the conference hall of Phoenix Insurance Company Limited in its Dilkusha Office on Monday, December 26, 2011. The Agreement was signed and exchanged between Mr. Anisul Islam, General Manager of SSLCOMMERZ and Mr. Md. Jamirul Islam, Managing Director of Phoenix Insurance. Mr. Mohammad Shoeb, Chairman, Mr. Md. Imam Shaheen, Additional Managing Director of Phoenix Insurance Company and Mr. Jubaer Hossain, Manager, Business Development and Mr. Mahbub-Ur-Rashid Khan, Sr. Marketing Associate, E-business of SSLCOMMERZ were also present in the event.

Online Jiban Bima Corporation Insurance policy payment

       Now you can pay your jiban bima corporation insurance policy premium directly from your mobile phone just by dialing ussd short code *777#. non-banglalink subscribers and non-mobile users can also pay their jiban bima corporation insurance premium from "mobile cash point" marked outlets. ussd technology is used for this service which ensures the cost efficient, secured and convenient transaction. You can pay your jiban bima corporation insurance policy premium from any where in Bangladesh.
Procedure premium payment from subscribers own banglalink connection:

Non registered banglalink consumers having valid jbc policy can register with the following:

press the reply button and press 1 (to confirm the registration request) and press the send button

now you are registered for the service
After the registration the subscriber will get the following sms
Your banglalink mobile cash account has been temporarily activated. Your temporary pin is 1234, please change the pin immediately to activate your account, type chg<temporary pin><new pin> and send it to 480. for help please call 1200

you are successfully associated with insurance service. Now you can pay insurance premium using the service. for help please call 1200

Balance refill:
Step 1: The customer goes to mobile cash point and requests the retailer with his/her mobile number amount to be refilled. The retailer initiates the transaction.

Customer association:
A customer needs to associate his/her policy number with the insurance pay service. Customers can do this by the following way:

When the process is completed the customer will receive a confirmation sms in his mobile with unique transaction id as shown above. The customer is advised to preserve the sms for future reference.
Procedure ii: premium payment at "mobile cash point":
  • jbc policy holders simply go to the nearby "mobile cash point" marked outlet with policy schedule and cash.
  • Mobile cash point agent will pay the premium on jbc policy holders’’ behalf and provide money receipt with paid seal and unique transaction id.
  • Customers may give their any operator mobile number to get confirmation sms after successful jbc premium payment.

Step 4: Recharge prepaid internet account by simply dialing *777# and follow the step-by-step ussd menu.  all you need to remember is your customer id, recharge slab (as per qubee/ollo policy) and your pin through which you registered in step 1. qubee/ollo user should reserve the confirmation sms with unique transaction id for future reference

                   example: if ollo customer id mentioned in urf is "00000123",
